A. Traub & Associates has proudly served families and individuals across Suburban Cook County and DuPage County for over two decades. Founded by attorney Angel Traub, the firm was built on a commitment to providing compassionate, practical legal help in family law, estate planning, and real estate.
Angel’s roots run deep in the community. She attended Hersey High School and grew up across Euclid Avenue with a backyard view of the old Arlington Racetrack—now the Rolling Meadows Courthouse. Her lifelong fondness for Arlington Heights and the surrounding towns continues to shape the firm’s mission of helping local families navigate life’s most important decisions with confidence and care.
As a female-owned and led firm, A. Traub & Associates promotes diversity in the practice of law while delivering strong advocacy in divorce, child custody, and guardianship matters. Many of the firm’s attorneys are trained mediators, and Angel and others also serve as Guardians ad Litem, ensuring children’s voices are heard in family court.
The firm’s impact extends beyond clients: two former partners in Angels firm, Margaret “Peggy” O’Connell and Chantelle Porter, have gone on to serve as circuit court judges—Judge Porter becoming the first Black female circuit court judge in DuPage County.
